TAF Construction is the premier design, engineering and construction company in The Gambia with an unparalleled track record of excellence and innovation. Established in 1990 with operations in construction, estate development, building material supplies and tourism development.We have built up a solid reputation for building high-quality executive offices, hotels and private dwellings in The Gambia, we have been classified as a class "A" Contractor allowing us to compete with international contractors and standards. In 2000, we were the first to develop a low income estate development project with the construction of 210 housing units for a total investment of US.5 million.

We have also embarked on the development of the Brufut Garden Residence. Set in approximately 3.7 million square metres of natural prime Gambian coastal land Brufut Gardens offers extremely affordable luxury in an unspoilt region of the coast. Brufut Gardens residents enjoy a secure environment with 24 hours security as well as 365 day uninterrupted water/electricity, weekly garbage collection, tarmacked roads, and street lights.

The second phase of the project will take place in 2008 with the construction of another 250 dwellings, facilities being planned include boutiques, a shopping plaza, restaurants, a bank, a club house with pool, tennis court, reception area, health spa, crèche playground and places of worship.

The Brufut Gardens project is an investment of £8.2 million and is The Gambia's most modern housing development, TAF provides its customers with an organised and structured ocean-view, world-class, modern, accessible and affordable luxury housing, where the variety of designs, reliability of infrastructure and consistency of services provide true value for money.

We have strived to bring together a 21st century system of management control with a composite staff of over 500. Mr.Mustapha Njie the CEO of TAF Holdings Ltd has won a number of awards including: Businessman of the year 92/93/04/07, and the ECGD award for Excellence and Quality in 1998. He is a Licentiate Member of the United Kingdom Chartered Institute of Building, president of the Gambia Association of Construction Contractors and Consultants, a member of the European Council for Global Business, Chairman of the Trade Fair Committee of The Gambia, and a member of the board of directors of the Trust Bank. In Addition TAF holding Co. belongs and actively participate to The African Enterprise Network, launched in 2000 and sponsored by OECD, USAID. The objective is to engage governments in a dialogue on policy changes for sustainable development and to encourage cross border trade and investment within the continent.

Taf Estates Development (TED)

TED is the one and only estate development agency in The Gambia. On record, TED has successfully developed self-catering apartments and sells, leases middle and high-income dwellings.

Taf Building Supplies (TBS)

Taf is the largest retailer and whole seller of building materials and associated products, we carry a focused in-depth quality product range at the most competitive prices, to meet the needs of the local market for home builders, DIY, contractors, farmers, and traders. TBS is the agent for UK based Reid Structural Systems and Arimitage Shanks.

Taf Tourism Development (TAFBEL)

Given Gambia’s tourism potential and the growing boom in tourism, TAFBEL developed a 200 bed 4-star hotel. The hotel caters for both tourists and business travellers.
